Alfa Romeo Gloria 2014

Italian brand Alfa Romeo spread new photos of the concept Gloria, which hinted for the first time a few days. Model represents the future sedan brand and will be presented to the public on 5 March in Geneva. 

Alfa Romeo Gloria inflects the successor to the 159 model , and will be sold in Europe, America and Asia. Will initially be available only sedan but at a later stage will appear and wagon version.

The dimensions of the product models are likely to be almost similar to those of the concept - 4.7 m long, 2 m wide , 1.3 m height and wheelbase of 2.9 meters. Italians plan to equip the car with powerful engines - V6 and V8 twin turbo .

Their characteristics have not yet been announced, but know that their power will in no case be less than 300 hp

Recall that the model Gloria created jointly by cooperation between students of transportation design and Alfa Romeo Style Centre.

 The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is better than the 147. That may be no great revelation - the 147 has been knocking around for a full decade now, and has long been usurped by younger, lither rivals - so here's a bigger one: the Giulietta might just be the best car that Alfa has built in its 100 years of existence.

 It must be conceded that we don't have the ideal conditions in which to fall helplessly in love with the Giulietta on our early test drive. As we arrive at Alfa's Balocco test facility, just off the Milan-Turin road in northern Italy.

 

 The Giulietta is now a genuine Golf and A3 rival, and, though prices are yet to be confirmed - Alfa has announced only that the Giulietta will start at around £17,000 - it should be competitive. But if you want something that's like a Golf, we'd guess you'll still buy a Golf. Alfas have always catered to the more petrolheaded market, but this one doesn't.

The New 2013 Alfa Romeo Brera

 

 

The Brera looks like nothing else on the road and is a real pleasure to drive. In true GT tradition, it eats up long range distances with consumate ease, carrying passenegres in comfort and style. The 3.2 V6 sounds and performs brilliantly and whilst not lightning quick is quick enough (0-100 in 6.8).

 

 

I have lost count of the times I have received positive looks and comments regarding the Brera. Supercar styling at a fraction of the cost which leaves owners of more expensive Mercs, BMWs and Audis pining for the same curb appeal.

 

 

 Build quality is superb (as far as Alfa Romeos go) and feel very solid. Road handling is great and road noise minimal.

 

 The culprit was the Brera’s weight: 1,500 kg (3,306 pounds) for the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder version and 1,680 kg (3,704 pounds) for the 3.2-liter V6 model. Throw in a couple of people and a tank of fuel and the range-topper came too close to two tones for comfort.

The New Alfa Romeo 8C 2013

 

 

The 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will host a special gathering of Alfa Romeo 8C automobiles–predicted to be the largest recorded gathering of these iconic sports cars–before they head off on a challenging 1,000-mile tour of the Rocky Mountains.

 

 

 The first Alfa 8C debuted at the 1931 Mille Miglia and went on to take first place for three consecutive years. It also trounced the competition in a hat trick at the Targa Florio, and took first place at the 24 hours of Le Mans four years in a row.

 

 

 

 

 

“If pressed to choose just one collector car, many car guys would opt for an Alfa Romeo 8C,” says Concours Chairman Sandra Button. “These cars offer both style and performance, and many have a stellar racing history. They are to be revered, but they also beg to be used and enjoyed. I can’t wait to see all of these Alfas on our show field–and out on the road!”

ALFA ROMEO 4C Coming in 2014

We are waiting to seen the production version of the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C.The figure of 240bhp is good because it tells us how much the sportscar weighs; Alfa has been teasing us with the notion it offers a power-to-weight ratio of "less than 4kg/HP", meaning this new 4C will weigh just under 960kg.

Alfa is positioning the new 4C, gets an aluminium block with bespoke intake and exhaust manifolds, along with something that promises to remove turbo lag.

At Geneva Motor Show we will see it again

In the interior of the new 4C we can see a carbon fibre central cell and it can make you popular with other carbon fibre enthusiasts. The dashboard and door panels have been given an ‘asphalt' treatment, the seats are made of composite materials, there's digital instrumentation and aluminium pedals and footboards.
